Tea Time contains of a lot of little legs and knobs. All of them are cast seperately and glued to the bowls and lids. This is precision work; the legs must be placed in a way they aren't skew. Also the knobs have to be in the center of the lids. And all extra glue has to be removed and finished to perfection.
After first firing, all items are sanded to get rid of every imperfection. Then the pieces are glazed on the inside before putting them in the kiln for final firing at 1375 degrees celsius.
